　　Good afternoon,distinguished judges.

　　I’m *** candidate,applying for primary school English teacher. Mytopic is There is a new TV. Now I’m ready. Class begins.

　　Ⅰ. Warming-up and lead-in

　　T:What can you see in the classroom? Can you see the desks in the classroom? Can you see the blackboardin the Classroom?

　　Ⅱ. Presentation

　　T:Let’s look at the picture. What’ s in the room? Yes,a TV,two sofas and some armchairs. Let’ s play agame. If you hear“sofa”,please say together“sofa” and clap the desk three times. If you hear“ armchair”,pleasesay together“armchair”and drub two times

　　T:What are there in the room? We can say,there is a TV in the room. There are two sofas in the room. Thereare four armchairs in the room. Because sofas and armchairs are the plural forms,we should use there are,not thereis. Are you all clear?

　　Ⅲ. Practice

　　T:Let’s make a pattern drill. I have some cards for each group. You will use the cards to practice. Remember to use“In the room,there is…”One student in the group acts as the little teacher,he / she teaches,and othersfollow. Who would like to act as the teacher? Peter,you speak English very well. 　　Look at the blackboard and fill in the blanks with“is,isn’t,are,aren’t”.We have a dining room and a kitchen. There▁▁only>▁▁some chairs in it. There▁▁a fridge and some cupboards in the kitchen. There▁▁orange juice in thefridge but there▁▁ much Coke.

　　T:Tom,let’s see your answer.

　　His answer is“ is,are,is,is,isn’ t”. Anyone with a different answer? Betty,7please. Betty’s answer to the third blank is“are”. Let’s see who is correct here. The object here is a fridge thatis close to the be verd,so we should use the singular form. So,the correct answer is“is”. Did you get it right?

　　T:Guess what it’s time for now? Yes,our game time. Let’s play“part”game now. First,each member in your group will write a sentence with“ there be”,for example. “There is a pen in the schoolbag. ” Then each>T:Great! I could see you’ve practiced a lot.

　　1. 对于小学生而言学习语法是必要的。

　　语言知识在语言应用的过程中是以一种隐性的方式呈现的。这种隐性的语言知识到一定的程度之后就会逐步做到自动化。最后,语言知识就能够比较隐性地指导我们的英语表达。语法教学是语言知识教学不可或缺的一部分,所以,小学生学习最基本的语法知识还是非常必要的。

　　2. 小学英语语法教学是为培养学生运用英语的能力服务的,其目的是使学生通过学习基本语法,更好地掌握句型,运用句型进行听、说、读、写等语言实践活动。

　　因此,小学英语语法教学应采用隐性的教学方式,应该将语法教学放在以实现真实交际意图为目的的交际活动中,运用图片、简笔画、表演等创设情境的方法使语法形象化,把语法还原为实践,让学生在学习语言和运用语言的过程中初步感知和理解语法规律,使学生自然习得语言。儿童是在不自觉的状态下大量接收并体验语言的,教师应避免讲解复杂的语法规则,对语法规则的处理可以采用发现性活动,帮助学生概括语言使用规则。
